Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition in which there is an inflammatory process occurring where the plantar fasciitis attaches to the heel. This occurs because of an abnormal force being placed on it.

Heel Spurs

Small bony growth or collection of bony growths on the back or underside of the heel. Pain and discomfort are the result of inflammation and chronic disruption of the sole ligament. Close to but different from PF.

Possibly The Cause

These and other maladies of the feet could be caused by overpronation. Over a half century of research has shown that almost 99% of the population overpronates. Overpronation means that your foot rolls inward as you move. If you overpronate, the outer edge of your heel hits the ground first, and then your foot rolls inward onto the arch. If you overpronate, you overly flatten your feet. When your arch flattens and stretches, your muscles, tendons, and ligaments are strained and you could be at risk of developing the above injuries.

Your feet are your foundation. Structural imbalances in your feet can lead to issues throughout the body. Foot Levelers believe that correcting imbalances in your feet can properly align your spine and pelvis. Foot Levelers Functional orthotics offer more than just short-term symptom relief. They also promote whole-body wellness for your life. Most orthotic companies only support one arch. When only one arch is being supported the problem shifts to another part of your body. Functional orthotics support the three interconnected arches of your foot. Unlike generic, over-the-counter orthotics, Foot Levelers Functional orthotics are individually designed for your unique postural problems - not just problems with your feet.
